Basic Life Support for the HCP (BCLS): $55.00 Textbook is included. This course is designed for
professional rescuers who must have a credential for
documentation of successful completion of a CPR
course or students who are required to have professional
rescuer certification prior to entrance into a healthcare
program of study. The course provides information on adult and pediatric CPR, two-rescuer scenarios, use of
the bag-valve mask, foreign-body airway obstruction
(conscious and unconscious), automated external
defibrillation, special resuscitation situations, and other
cardiopulmonary emergencies.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS-P): $130.00
Textbook included. Participants must hold current BLS
Healthcare Provider certification. The course covers
resuscitation of cardiac arrest, MI, and CVA patients,
including medications, electrical therapy, and airway
management. First Day: Small Group/Skills 8:00 5:00;
Second Day: Mega code/Testing: 8:00-12:00

**Renewals can attend Day 2 only. Cost $101.50.
Must have current text released 08/06. Purchase
cost $28.50.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS-P): $130.00
Textbook included. Participant must hold current BLS
Healthcare Provider certification. Course covers pre-
resuscitation, resuscitation and post-resuscitation
procedures. Included are basic life support, airway and
ventilation, vascular access, fluid therapy and
medications, cardiac rhythm disturbances, trauma
resuscitation and more. **Renewals can attend Day 2 only. Cost $95. Must
have current text released 12/06. Purchase cost $35.

BCLS, ACLS, or PALS Instructor: $165.00
Instructor and Provider materials included. This is a one-
day course. This course prepares participants to teach
both Provider and Renewal courses. Participant must have a current Provider card in the appropriate
discipline obtained or
renewed with 2005 AHA guidelines . ***Required Skills Check for BLS Instructor Courses. ECG for ACLS: $85 (Does not take place of ACLS) Determining Lethal Cardiac Rhythms for ACLS. It is
recommended prior to the ACLS provider course for
those who need additional assistance determining

Heartsaver CPR, Heartsaver AED and Heartsaver
First Aid Classes (Upon Request)
These courses are designed for the lay-public. They
cover Heartsaver CPR techniques as well as basic first
aid. Classes are scheduled upon request. There must
be 5 participants to create course. The CTC will send
sufficient instructors to teach an onsite class for a
reasonable fee.
